About TajiCast

TajiCast is free software that listens to a live sermon, detects the Bible verse the preacher is speaking — by reference or paraphrase — and puts it on screen in real time. Full-screen on the projector, and over NDI as lower-thirds for vMix and OBS.

Why we built it

For years, putting the preached verse on screen meant a volunteer sitting with a Bible app, searching for each reference while the preacher moved on. When the preacher cross-referenced or paraphrased, the screen fell behind — and the moment was lost. TajiCast was built to close that gap: to let scripture keep pace with the sermon automatically, so the person in the back row and the person watching online both see the Word clearly.

What TajiCast does

  • Detects the verse being preached from the sermon audio, in real time, including paraphrased quotations.
  • Displays it full-screen on your projector, and over NDI as lower-thirds for vMix, OBS, and other production tools.
  • Transcribes sermons and generates AI sermon notes you can reuse through the week.
  • Runs on ordinary church hardware — Windows 10 and 11 — and is completely free.

Who’s behind it

TajiCast was founded by Mambo Mutinda, an engineer who spent more than a decade volunteering on church media teams — behind the sound desk, the projector, and the live stream. TajiCast grew directly out of the problems he faced every Sunday, and it is built for the volunteers who make Sunday happen.

Free, and meant to stay that way

TajiCast is free to download and use, with no subscription and no per-verse limits. We also write practical, honest guides for church media teams on our blog — whatever software you use — because a better-run booth serves the whole church.
